Arika Pierce has just released her new book titled The Millennial's Playbook to Adulting. The book provides actionable advice for any Millennial who is transitioning into a successful adult. J.D. Thomas Founder, CEO & Chief Resource Officer of The Learners Lab Foundation (TLLF), is pleased to announce that it has launched a pilot project, "Filling In STEM Gaps: The Stakeholders Working Group." The working group is a result of stakeholder participation in, and an overwhelmingly positive reaction to, their Workshop on Filling Training Gaps that kicked off opening day events for the US News and World Reports STEM Solutions national conference, "Workforce of Tomorrow." The conference took place at the DC Convention Center on April 4, 2018. As a conference partner and member of the DC Host Committee, TLLF was instrumental in helping plan the event. Launched in 2015, TLLF is a national all volunteer charity that assembles, designs, then connects individuals, programs, companies, specialty groups and employers with the resources they find difficult or impossible to access on their own.

Rick Schneider has been named Senior Vice President, Advancement at the National Center for Family Philanthropy, based in DC. NCFP is the only national nonprofit dedicated exclusively to families who give and those who work for them. Rick was previously COO at WETA.
