Unconscious Bias - What It Is and How It Affects Our Actions
WNG Chairman's Forum
Sep 14 - Thursday
4:00 PM
6:15 PM

Please join the Washington Network Group when we convene our next WNG Chairman's Forum with Lorne Epstein, Producer and Host of "The Lorne Epstein Show" and talent acquisition professional, who will discuss with us "Unconscious Bias - What it is and how it affects our actions."

About this Session:

Recently, Lorne has developed talent acquisition and diversity strategy for the U.S. Forest Service, where he delivered a 90-minute workshop on "Unconscious Bias" to the Service's HR officers. The workshop was well received, and now Lorne wants to share this exciting work with you. The term "unconscious bias" is now part of our lexicon, and yet many of us don't fully understand what it means or how it impacts our lives, both personally and professionally. In this workshop, Lorne will share his insights with us through a discussion including a few hands-on experiential learning exercises. There is nothing for you to bring, and you are welcome to take notes if you like. Our event is preceded and followed by time for networking.
