Job Description

The Sales Manager’s primary goal, through heavy outbound calling and targeted lead generation campaigns, is to engage with senior-level marketing and brand executives to secure sales appointments. In this role you will be executing a transactional sales methodology with an average sales cycle of (3) months or less. The average size of a deal will be $40,000. Success in this role will quickly evolve into a traveling sales role with the expectation of future management over your own sales team.

Typical day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Securing phone-based sales meetings between GeniusRocket executives and potential clients (the goal is to schedule 20 appointments within first 6 weeks)
* Managing visit preparation and follow-up to maximize sales cycle effectiveness
* Conducting sales calls with marketing executives to articulate our business model and value proposition
* Creating sales and marketing material to convey the core of GeniusRocket's offering
* Developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns
* Gathering business intelligence on companies, leads and qualified prospects

Skills

* Solution based sales experience with an emphasis on service oriented products
* Relationship-building skills and transactional sales experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to immediately establish one’s credibility with marketing executives
* Solid understanding of marketing principles and ability to quickly learn crowdsourcing principles.
* 1-3 years sales experience (preferably B2B sales experience)
* Advertising sales is a huge plus.
* Bachelor’s Degree Required
