Responsible for the Communications function across the Operating Group (OG) and members of the BAE Systems Communications Council. This position assists the OG President and his/her executive staff with the planning, formulation, execution and results of their communications and ensures it remains strong. Designs the OG's key corporate messages and maintains the OG's corporate image to key publics working partnership with BAE Systems Inc. The primary role of the position is to produce a credible, accurate and positive image of the OG as a good business, community partner, employer, neighbor and corporate individual.

Develop and organize business leadership events domestically and internationally. Handle the planning for executive conferences (about 3 held per year). Responsible for site preparation, developing the agenda, and overall management of the events.

Partner with the SVP at Inc to ensure that L&A Communications Function is within the global framework

Support Performance Excellence by appropriately publicizing LOB/Technical Organization and Functional top mission success achievements. Publicize performance metrics and execute a Communications campaign to brand the theme across the OG.

Represents L&A on the Global Communications Council ensuring the Operating Group is enterprise minded in meeting its requirements.

Responsible for improving the OG's Program Performance by promoting employee awareness of performance success and issues using appropriate communications.

Supports and upholds the global brand identity and ensures that L&A is aligned to the Communications Policy.

Contribute to OG Growth by developing and executing discrete communication campaigns supporting the OG Strategic Initiatives (Readiness and Sustainment and Homeland Security).

Ensure that L&A messaging is enterprise aligned to speak with one voice, understanding the need to be global, whilst acting locally.

Strengthen key customer relationships by increasing awareness of customer affinity among internal and external publics.

Support the OG as a high performance enterprise by establishing a culture of knowledge management and borderless efforts.

Support activities to ensure the OG remains an employer of choice. Access and act on the OG Communications portion of Employee Survey results.

Project/Program Manager responsible for oversight of a diverse project team or small program ($25-$50MM in revenue). The project typically has well-defined goals and follows a well-established process. Typically completed in 12 months. Skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a complex Program/Business Unit/Operating Group. Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of work experience.
