POSITION: Vice President or Director of Sales. (Title depends upon experience.) This is a management position. Initially, this will also be an individual contributor position. You will have an individual quota. Initially, you will only have one person reporting to you. You will be fully in charge of your numbers, growth and hiring plan.

COMPANY: A fast-growing Internet company that provides a valuable platform to revolutionize the philanthropic market by providing services to corporations, DAFs, charities, foundations and non-profits.

LOCATION: Position is located in Washington, DC. Candidates must already live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate. Working remotely is not an option.

COMPENSATION: This is a key hire. CEO is willing and able to put together the right package for the right candidate. The compensation package will include: base salary, bonus, and a full benefits package. There will be an emphasis on incentives for outstanding performance. The CEO wants to hire someone who is very motivated.

MANAGEMENT STYLE/CORPORATE CULTURE: This position reports to the CEO. He will only hire someone who is a team player and does not need to be micromanaged. Basically, he prefers to agree to a set of objectives making sure that the objectives are clearly outlined and understood by the individual, then let the individual execute the plan. But, expects the individual to keep him informed of progress. Individual must be able to go the CEO when in need of help. He will only hire someone that is very entrepreneurial and passionate with a burning hunger for success and excellence; someone with a vision. He wants people with new ideas and strong opinions, but able to move in a fast paced, ever-changing start up environment. Need someone who is very nice and pleasant to work with who can achieve results without stepping on people. Culture is very entrepreneurial, team oriented, fun, friendly, respectful, easy going and results focused. There is open communication and exchange of new ideas. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have someone who has held a sales position within the last 12 months managing an individual quota selling technology and/or solutions to corporations with 500+ employees or to foundations, non-profits and/or DAFs.
• Prefer candidates with a well developed “Rolodex” of key contacts in the Human Resources departments of corporations with 500+ employees, or the top executives at Foundations and Non-profits.
• Must have a record of quota over-achievement.
• Must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Need someone who enjoys the entrepreneurial atmosphere of a small company, but has been through the experience of scaling up an enterprise to significant organization size and revenues. Experience working in a dynamic (i.e. “startup”) environment is preferred.
• Must have strong communications background and business acumen.
• Prefer candidates who have earned undergraduate and/or MBA degrees from respected universities. Looking for candidates that are highly analytical and results focused.
