Seeking a professional with skills in marketing, business development and event/meeting planning as part of the core team for a national Specialty Practice Group (“SPG”), specializing in the legal sector. Must be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to multi-task and an interest in developing new business development tools with the support of corporate marketing and research. The SPG supports 300+ brokers throughout the US in building tools and intellectual capital to differentiate our services and expand legal sector market share. Position requires daily interaction with SPG team and advisors/leadership of company throughout North America and the globe.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting national Specialty Practice Group (“SPG”) focused on the legal sector
• Provide hands-on support to the Lead of the Practice Group and Advisory Team
• Oversee business and database development efforts, including database management, meeting coordination and business development/lead tracking
• Act as the main point of contact for national client services and speak with both brokers and executive leadership in law firms
• Manage annual symposium tour and help coordinate schedules, SPG team calls, power point presentations, marketing and business development materials, events, etc.
• Manage annual benchmark survey invites and webinars as well as distribution of materials
• Association of Legal Administrators (“ALA”) National Conference – proactively lead the efforts with team coordinating the C&W booth at the conference, including but not limited to booth registrations, set ups, dinners, invitations, give always, client events, etc.
• Update global CRM system with current and future opportunities
• Work directly with client representatives and account teams across services lines to determine business development needs, support content offerings, and provide support to brokers in field
• Manage calendars and prep agenda for team and practice group calls and action items
• Managing and tracking legal sector research and marketing efforts with in house resources
• Define and run practice group subcommittee internal projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1 to 3 years of related experience in business development, marketing/presentations, event coordination, database development and research in addition to college degree
• Expertise in business development, database tracking, strategic account pursuits
• Creative thinker, problem solver and team player
• Excellent writing, communication and technology skills
• Understanding of real estate and legal industry a benefit but not necessary
• Modest travel for conferences and SPG initiatives
• Proficiency with MS Office required; experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system a plus.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects; project management skills and training is highly desirable
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills a must
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with Account Directors, clients and as a team with other Account Platform Coordinators
• Entrepreneurial spirit

Physical Requirements

• Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
• May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
• Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
• Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
• Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
