You are invited to join the Washington Network Group when Martin Irvine, Director of Irvine Contemporary, and Lauren Gentile, Assistant Director, invite you to a reception and discussion at Irvine Contemporary, the leading contemporary art gallery in the Washington, D.C. area.
This special event will introduce WNG Members to the enjoyment of contemporary art, and provide insights on the dynamics of the art market. A main mission of Irvine Contemporary is to provide the best entry point for new art collectors and an unmatched knowledge base for learning about art for building personal art collections. WNG Member and gallery owner Martin Irvine is not only an art dealer with a Harvard Ph.D., but also combines extensive business entrepreneurial experience with continuing duties as a professor at Georgetown University. Lauren Gentile recently joined the gallery after earning her MBA from Sotheby's Institute, London, having accrued several years of prior experience in the art market, as well.
Martin and Lauren will host a wine reception and informal discussion in the gallery, including a personal guided tour of the gallery's current exhibitions, new sculptures by Mellissa Ichiuji and new photographs by Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick.
