About Our Topic:

"The Neuroscience of Networking: Practical Tools for Calm, Confident Connecting"

You got the business card. So, what’s stopping you from taking the next step? Recent findings from neuroscience explain why we delay or completely avoid taking the next step to connect. Join neuroleadership expert and author Suzanne Kryder as she demystifies why many of us are uncomfortable and ineffective at networking. The good news is that regardless of how stuck you feel today, your brain is plastic and you can change your behavior. You’ll learn three practical brain-based tools for developing a calm, confident and successful approach to networking.

About Our Presenter:

Suzanne Kryder, Ph.D. owns a Washington, DC-based neuroleadership company that blends leadership development with an understanding of how the mind works. She uses a unique approach of explaining basic neuroscientific findings to help people overcome the natural negativity of the brain, address workplace challenges, and increase productivity. Prior to starting her business in 1992, she taught in higher education and was a manager in hospital and business organizations. She has coached and trained thousands of leaders to be more effective including for the Department of the Interior, University of Maryland, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, and as a faculty member for The Brookings Institution’s Public Leadership 21C program. She is the author of The Mind to Lead: Coaching for Calm, Confident Power, which is available for purchase on Amazon.com.
