Please join the WNG Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability SIG when we meet with John Friedman, award-winning communications professional and co-founder of the Sustainable Business Network of Washington (SBNOW).
Our Discussion Topic:
Much has been said and written about what it means for a company or organization to be a leader. Certainly the area of sustainability and all the sub-categories under that umbrella offer a myriad of opportunities for organizations, companies, and individuals to carve out a niche as a leader in a specialty or sub-specialty. With stakeholder expectations continuing to evolve, it is critical that organizations match their rhetoric to the reality and make the distinction between their commitments and actions, and the true impact their actions are having - and not having - on people, the planet and prosperity.
