Mr. Jordan has 15+ years experience in technology and telecommunications, having started his journey in MCI Communications in Washington DC. Via his diverse functions and career paths he has developed deep capabilities in technology, marketing and sales, finance and international business.

His first stint at MCI began in a customer service and operational capacity working in network operations, then transitioning to network planning and concluding in a financial management capacity as a financial analyst for MCI's office of the CTO in 1991. In this capacity he oversaw the management of a $1.2Billion capital budget and a $600M operating budget and participated in the oversight of network infrastructure projects.

For the next three years he worked for O'Leary/O'Neil Associates, a boutique strategic marketing consulting firm specializing in the design of marketing, public relations and advertising strategies for hi-tech industries and international clients. During this period, Mr. Jordan also secured a Master's of Arts in International Studies from George Mason University, where he also received his BS in Finance 9 years earlier.

In 1994 Mr. Jordan was again recruited by MCI International, this time to work in a corporate development function managing merger & acquisition activities in Latin America. He concluded his second stay in MCI in 1998 in an international sales and business development capacity, where he grew MCI's internet, satellite and bandwidth business 40% CAGR while earning numerous Achievement Awards.

Next, Mr. Jordan joined Cable and Wireless USA to direct the international internet business for the Americas region. In this new capacity, his role was broadened to become the subject-matter expert for the region providing operational, marketing, network and sales expertise and council with the added responsibility of a $12 million revenue line, which he grew at a rate of 20% CAGR between 1998 and 2000.

In 2000 Mr. Jordan was recruited by Optiglobe Communications to lead their Latin American expansion as Director of Marketing and Alliances. As a startup building $100 million data centers in the Americas, Mr. Jordan provided invaluable input into all facets of the business ranging from infrastructure and product development to alliance development to marketing and advertising strategies. His efforts led to the conclusion of deals with partners such as Level 3, Exodus, Equinix, Oracle, Sun Systems and Accenture.

Concurrently, Mr. Jordan co-founded M5 Associates, an information technology firm specializing in the design of network management solutions as well as management consulting services. Here he secured the firm's first two large clients and secured sub-contracting partnership agreements with some of the regions leading IT firms and customers such as Verizon, Dyncorp and Qwest. As CMO, Andres was instrumental in designing the firm's value proposition, securing its clients and partners, and designing its growth strategy.

Currently, Mr. Jordan is Vice President of Innovation and Technology at T-Systems North America (Deutsche Telekom), an evolutionary position that started as consultancy and that he has held since 2002. In this capacity he is tasked with living in the future and finding next generation products and developing launch strategies for their successful global execution. This position places him at the leading-edge of new and future ideas and technologies, including P2P TV, mobile content strategies, and new-media business models.

Mr. Jordan is a visionary, a seasoned internationalist and a thought leader with a deep yearning for bringing together cultures and fomenting understanding via technological development and effective communication strategies. His formative years were shaped by growing up in Chile, El Salvador and Mexico, forging a globalized vision which drives his passion for intercultural understanding and diversity. Mr. Jordan is fluent in Spanish and is conversational in other Latin languages. His management style is inclusive, effectively utilizing leadership, creativity, marketing, analytical and consensus-building skills to engineer reciprocal relationships and alliances. He is comfortable in all settings discussing technology, international business and executing on what is next and best.

Mr. Jordan serves in various advisory roles and boards in addition to serving as President of LISTA-DC, a volunteer-based non-profit that advocates technology and entrepreneurial education for Hispanics. He also serves as Chair of the Technology Roundtable for the Washington Network Group. He regularly consults and gives speeches on subjects at the nexus of technology, innovation and International Business.
