On Wednesday, June 19, 2013, the Washington Network Group convened its WNG Communications Roundtable, which supports leaders confronted by challenges in communications, public relations, marketing, investor relations, and public affairs, including the private, public, and independent sectors. Participation was limited to 20 attendees.

Our presenter for this session was John Maisel, publisher of ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR Magazine, who led a roundtable discussion on effective strategies for an organization's publication or newsletter, including: design/redesign, print/online/digital/tablet formats including key findings from an exclusive new mobile survey, editorial planning/changes, maximizing industry research, managing printing costs, multimedia elements/incorporating video, increasing and maintaining ad/other revenue, creating a new publication, getting the best from your design team and more.

The session was moderated by WNG Board member Lorelei Harloe, Principal at Ascend Communications, LLC.
