Daniel L. Haney works at DH Technologies, a small business HUBZone entity with a SEWP government-wide acquisition
contract. Focused on continuous innovation, the company rapidly established itself as an industry-recognized expert in system integration and virtualization services. DH Technologies delivers to clients the most powerful next generation computing architectures, with domain experience in server and storage virtualization, accelerated computing and deep learning, as well as powerful cloud based architectures. Customers rely on the firm to manage their advanced technology enterprise operations. For example, DH Technologies solutions are deployed at the Defense Information Services Agency (DISA) and at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI); The FBI project is the largest Federal VDI project now on record. Additionally, the enterprise cloud company Nutanix selected DH Technologies as Federal partner of the Year in both 2013 and 2014.
Dan has over twenty years of experience working with the Federal government and commercial sector clients. His management responsibilities have ranged from business development and sales to account management and professional services development, including technical writing. He has a successful history of managing large Federal accounts, and he possesses diverse skills required to work in distributed and complex environments. In addition, Dan has developed a strong focus on designing, integrating and managing converged networks, with an emphasis on communication, security, continuity of operations and transport.
Before joining DH Technologies, Dan worked for Sun Management, an information security firm based in Arlington, Virginia, and with Level 3 Communications, where is was a Federal account manager. Previously, he spent five years at TWD & Associates, where he was a business development executive focused on network infrastructure (VTC, cabling and secure communications), primarily working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Earlier in his career, Dan worked at GTSI on their Integrator Solutions Group (ISG) team.
A native of Northern Virginia, Dan grew up in Upperville and attended St. Stephens' Episcopal High School in Alexandria. He attended college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where he studied finance and flight training.
