Javiera is a Senior Manager in the Southeast Asia Division
of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she focuses on building and strengthening private sector economic initiatives with select SE Asia countries. Before joining the Chamber, Javiera worked at the Washington International Trade Association (WITA) for several years, including as Executive Director. There she worked to build up that organization in terms of its activities, its membership, its outreach, and its profile. She has also been an independent consultant abroad where she worked with US MBA students undertaking foreign consultancies, and as a trade capacity building and organizational development specialist with the International Executive Service Corps. She has also worked at the Chilean Embassy in Washington, and started her career as a Business Advisory Services Associate at Grant Thornton LLP. She has a bachelorís degree from George Mason University, an International Studies certificate from Johns Hopkins SAIS and an MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
