Once a member, I realize that WNG is a great place to mingle and network. I met new people, and most important, I gained my confidence back which helped me to double my job search efforts. I was invited to three job interviews. The three interviews came from three available positions I learned about after visiting WNG's job announcement section. Finally and after almost a year and a half of searching, I landed on a new job that meet my expectations and where I feel my expertise is needed to achieve expected results. Matthew Roberts recently joined Long & Foster Real Estate in its Woodley Park sales office. Matthew has been a Realtor for four years, is a graduate of the prestigious Real Estate Institute, and is licensed in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. "I transferred to Long & Foster because it combines the best qualities of both a large and a boutique brokerage. Its size and longevity present incredible opportunities to grow a business in a challenging market, yet the extraordinary qualities of teamwork and collaboration in the service of our customers and our colleagues are more typical of a smaller brokerage," says Matthew. "Long & Foster offers distinct benefits and features to our clients. For example, advertising campaigns are implemented in ways that increase our sellers' market exposure, and programs such as Home Service Connections provide access to qualified vendors who can help clients tackle a multitude of needs related to buying and/or selling a home."
