News Release: June 8, 2006


On Thursday, June 8, 2006, the Washington Network Group (WNG) and Women In Technology (WIT) together convened an expert panel presentation and discussion on leading-edge technologies in Alternative Energy sector. This special briefing and networking reception took place at Northrop Grumman headquarters in Tysons Corner, Virginia, The event was attended by approximately 60 people.

Our panelists reviewed new and maturing technologies, how policy and natural resource considerations will impact the development of these technologies, how alternative technologies could help avert potential future energy crises, and what their impact might be on other technology sectors.

This program was presented by the WIT Technology SIG and the WNG Technology Roundtable.

Please join the Washington Network Group (WNG) and Women In Technology (WIT) for an expert panel presentation and discussion on leading-edge technologies in Alternative Energy sector. Our panelists will review new and maturing technologies, how policy and natural resource considerations will impact the development of these technologies, how alternative technologies could help avert potential future energy crises, and what their impact might be on other technology sectors. This program is presented by the WIT Technology SIG and the WNG Technology Roundtable.

Our briefing format includes moderated panel presentations and Q&A time (90 minutes), preceeded by business networking (light buffet served).

Our Venue: Please enter the Northrop Grumman building from the 5th floor in the parking garage (pedestrian walkway is at the 5th floor garage level) to the conference room area. There will not be access to the conference room area from the building main floor lobby.
