WNG Insider's Lunch - The Current State of Homeland Security - Frank Cilluffo, George Washington University

On Wednesday, January 14, 2004, the Washington Network Group convened a Washington Insiders Lunch with WNG Member Frank Cilluffo, Associate Vice President for Homeland Security at George Washington University.

Frank has made his career in counter-terrorism - both inside government and within the policy think tank world. Now at GWU, Frank actively builds partnerships with the private sector, academic, and state and local officials, and emergency responders on homeland security policies and initiatives. Previously, he was a principal advisor to Governor Tom Ridge and directed the President’s Homeland Security Advisory Council and its four Senior Advisory Committees at The White House.

Frank made opening remarks at the outset of our meeting, and then had an informal discussion with us over lunch.

This WNG Special Event was convened under our "Washington Insiders" program series, which is designed to provide meaningful opportunities for WNG Members and our special guests to develop their professional and business networks in the Greater Washington Region. Our attendees included representatives from the corporate, policy, and government sectors.

This "Members-Only" event was limited to 17 attendees.

The Metropolitan Club was made available through the courtesy of Bill Stokes.
